AROMA NATIVO / Luis Marcelino
Over the past years, Aroma Nativo has been building connections between undiscovered Colombian coffee farmers and well-known roasters from around the world. In 2022, Luis Marcelino, the founder of Aroma Nativo, takes it a step further by launching the Veci Project: it's a collaborative coffee production initiative between coffee producers who have good agronomic practices but lack the infrastructure on the farm to process their coffee. Aroma Nativo contributes by purchasing their coffee cherries at a high price and using its fermentation knowledge and processing facilities located in Pitalito, Huila. Throughout this process, Aroma Nativo maintains full traceability of all the coffees and does not blend them. They believe that each farm and harvest week creates a coffee batch with its own unique characteristics. For this reason, they only work with exclusive micro and nano lots.
For this exceptional lot, we selected only the ripest Pink Bourbon drupes. They underwent a meticulous fermentation process in a controlled anaerobic environment, followed by pulping. To enhance the flavor, the beans in mucilage were then fermented in barrels with native bacteria and strains of special yeast, ensuring a distinctive and rich profile. 13 days raised beds sun dryer, followed by an essential 2 months stabilization phase in a meticulously controlled temperature environment, ensuring optimal conditions for preserving quality and enhancing durability.
Customers who purchase whole bean coffee should be aware that the product is non-refundable. It is also important for customers to cancel their purchase before the product is shipped if they wish to do so. Once the coffee has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. This policy is designed to ensure that customers receive the freshest coffee possible and that the company can continue to meet the high standards of quality that their customers expect.
We use Swiss Post and delivery usually takes 1 to 3 working days. However, delivery times vary depending on the destination and chosen delivery method, so we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Once the payment is completed, we will schedule your order for the next roasting day. After roasting, we will ship your coffee.
